THE SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY INSTITUTIONAL APPLICATION IS ONLY INTENDED FOR READMISSION AND NON-DEGREE VISITING STUDENTS. THIS APPLICATION PLATFORM IS NOT TO BE USED BY FIRST-YEAR OR TRANSFER APPLICANTS.First-year and transfer applicants must use either the Common Application or ApplyTexas to submit their admission application.
PLEASE NOTE: Southwestern University is a purely undergraduate institution, offering bachelor's degrees only. Southwestern does not offer any master's or graduate-level programs of any kind.

✅ Readmission Applicants 🟢 (For students who have previously attended Southwestern University)
If you are a previous Southwestern University student applying for readmission, please select "Log in" under "Returning users" and login with the email/password you first used to apply to Southwestern. If you cannot remember your password, click the "Forgot Your Password" link on the next page. Then, you may create a new application. Ensure that the round you select includes the word "Readmission".
✅ Visiting/Non-Degree Applicants 🟢 (For students who do not want to earn a degree from Southwestern University)
If you are applying to take a class or two to transfer back to another institution, or to audit a class as a life-long learner, you are considered a visiting or auditing non-degree seeking student. Please select "Create an account" under "First-time users" to create a Southwestern University application account. If you have previously applied to Southwestern and/or already have an account, you may log back in under "Returning users." When creating a new application, ensure the round you choose includes "Non-Degree Visiting".

Students who will start college after high school graduation must use either ApplyTexas or the Common Application to apply to Southwestern University. First-year applicants may not apply using this service.

If you have earned 12+ credits at a 2-year or 4-year institution after high school graduation, you are considered a transfer applicant. Transfer applicants cannot use this application. As a transfer student, you must submit your application through: ApplyTexas or the Common Application. Transfer students may not apply using this service.
